    Job 22:21 NRSV

“Agree with God, and be at peace; in this way good will come to you."

  • Devotion

The holidays are a stress inducing time for many including myself. It’s either picking the perfect gift, getting everyone together, mourning love ones, hosting an event, or all of the above. But if we trust in Jesus, then peace will be delivered to us. In this age of anxiety, we so rarely take a minute to breathe and appreciate what God has done for us. He is called the Wonderful Counselor for a reason. We must lay all that stresses us before Him so that He can calm our minds. Job says for us to,” Now acquaint yourself with Him, and be at peace; Thereby good will come to you.” (Job 22:21 NKJV)

These words show how the closer we are with Him the more peace He will bestow upon you. In this hectic world we frequently forget to talk with God. He may be a great Father but He is also our counselor. He is and always will be here for us and wishes for us to succeed. So, through these upcoming months and years allow God to bring you peace and allow Him to work through you so that His work may be done.
