At GraceKids, we believe church should be a place where every child feels known, loved, and welcomed. From our youngest little ones in GraceKids Jr. to our GraceKids elementary-aged children, we create joyful opportunities for kids to discover who Jesus is and grow in their faith.
Through Bible stories, worship, play, hands-on activities, missions, and caring relationships, children are encouraged to ask questions, make friends, and experience God’s love in meaningful ways.
Safety is a priority at GraceKids. All GraceKids adult volunteers and staff are background checked and have completed our safe sanctuary training. Our children's staff is also First Aid/CPR certified.

Nursery Ages: Birth- 3K
Nursery Schedule:
- Sundays - 8:15am - 12pm
- Wednesdays - 6pm-7pm (during Wednesday Night Programming season)
Nursery Classroom:
Infants & Toddlers Room 105 - lower level of the Asbury Building
Policies & Procedures:
- A nursery staff member will greet you and your child upon arriving.
- Regular attending parents will check in at the nursery door where you will sign-in, drop off your child's diaper bag and give the nursery staff a quick status on your child's needs for that morning.
- New families will be given a short information form to fill out and a Parent/Child card to be turned in when they return to pick-up their child. They will also receive additional information about nursery procedures.
- Parents should let the staff member know if your child has any allergies. Serious allergies or special needs for your child must be discussed with the Director before they attend the nursery.

We believe that Sunday School classes are where children dive deeper to learn more about Jesus, with hands-on interactive fun! Each Sunday, the children will rotate through one activity that may consist of either Bible storytelling, object lessons, arts & crafts, or playing games that tie back to the Lesson Series. The rotation activities are in addition to their Bible lesson and help drive the lesson's goal in a fun and engaging way. All lessons are modified to be age appropriate. We have many dedicated teachers who have many years of experience leading children from preschool 3k (potty trained)- 5th grade.
Sunday School is held from 9:45am-10:45am. We would love to have your kids come visit us and join us for a fun lesson!
Fall 2026, Year A, "Spark Lectionary":
How it works:
Each Spark Lectionary lesson follows a four-part sequence:
- Gather – Begin the day by gathering together and trying a warm-up activity
- Open the Bible – Open Bibles and explore the day’s story
- Activate Faith – Get moving and become engaged in the story they just read by using their leaflets
- Send – Finish with a closing activity and prayer
Children's Ministry Elementary Sunday School classrooms are located in the upper level of the Asbury building. Preschool classrooms are in the lower level of the Asbury building (CDC). Our Sunday School teachers have completed the Safe Sanctuary training and are background checked.
- Preschool - children in grades 3k (potty trained) - 5k, Room 112
- Elementary - children in grades 1st - 5th, Rooms 207-211
Children in grades 3K-5th will enjoy spending time together as we B.L.A.S.T. off each Sunday morning into Children's Church! B.L.A.S.T. is held during our two worship services: LifeSong Contemporary (8:45am) and Traditional (11am).
Children are dismissed from worship service after the Children's Message and line up with their teachers to walk together to their classrooms. Our time together in B.L.A.S.T. is spent in "Bible Learning And Spiritual Training" as we explore Bible stories through games and crafts using "Spark" curriculum! There is also fellowship time built into our B.L.A.S.T. program to help children connect and build relationships with one another in a fun way!
Classrooms are located in the upper level (UL) & lower level (LL) of the Asbury Building.
- B.L.A.S.T. Jr. for Preschool grades potty trained 3k - 5k are in (LL) Room 112
- B.L.A.S.T. for Elementary grades 1st - 5th are in (UL) Room 210
Wednesday Nights are happening at Grace! Our Children's Ministry takes over the Family Center (gym) Building on Wednesday Nights where your kids will first meet up for devotion time in the gym, followed by lots of interactive fun games!
This is also a great opportunity for kids to fellowship with friends while having fun playing games in the gym!
Wednesday Night Kids' ("WNK") classes begin at 6:15pm and end at 7:00pm. All children should be picked up by 7:05pm.
- Nursery - available for infants -2k/3K in the lower level of the Asbury Building
- Preschool - WNK available in the gym's Multipurpose Room
- Elementary - WNK available in gymnasium
Grace Kids Club is a part of our Children's Ministry and Missions of Grace UMC. Our goal is to provide a safe, Christian environment for children.
Kids Club After School Program
Grace Kids Club is open to our community families that are looking for a structured after school program. Our program runs from 2:30pm-5:30pm and is housed in our Family Center Building. We love providing a fun environment where kids and teachers become family! Some of the things that we provide in our after school program are:
- Dedicated and loving staff team members (1:5 teacher/kids ratio)
- Church Bus transportation to pick up your children from North Augusta Elementary School and Hammond Hill Elementary School.
- Smaller enrollment (26 kids total)
- We follow the Aiken County Public Schools calendar to assist families with childcare.
- Daily activities that include indoor Gym time, Homework time, Bible devotions, Prayer time, Arts & Crafts time, Chapel Music time, and Outdoor Playground time.
- Optional end of the school year half days local field trips (separate registration/cost)
- Optional extended care to join our Children's Ministry Wednesday Night Kids meal & class program.

- Parents have the option to place their child on a waitlist once spots are filled for a classroom
