The Youth ministry at Grace UMC is named from 1 Corinthians 4:1, which we pray will  be our guide in all things we do. The        purpose of our youth ministry to challenge and grow mature followers of Jesus Christ as they move through Middle and High School. This youth ministry aims to do this through bible teaching, community, and missions. We hope that you will join us in all the actives mentioned below as well as our weekly Sunday Night meetings!

For more information on Youth Ministries at Grace contact our Youth Director.

Sunday School

During the school year, three Youth classes meet
  • Confirmation Class (6th grade) – Room 117 Youth Wing Annex
  • Middle School Co-Ed Class (7th-8th grade) – Room 114 Youth Wing Annex
  • 9th-12th Grade Co-Ed Class – Room 115 Youth Wing Annex
Confirmation Class (6th grade) What is Confirmation all about?  Confirmation is an opportunity to respond to the grace of God available to us, as acknowledged in baptism, and to promise to live as a person of faith.  In this class, students study Scripture and the history & doctrines of the United Methodist Church.  They participate in activities that encourage team building and personal growth in faith as they move toward their personal decision to own their faith and make the commitment before the congregation of Grace UMC  to follow Christ and join His church.

Middle School Sunday School (7th-8th grade) During Middle School, our Sunday School class focuses on Bible based interactive lessons that weave God’s Word into the lives of our students.  Our teachers provide encouragement and support throughout the year to students while building upon the foundations of truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

High School Sunday School (9th12th grade classes) During High School, our students are enriched by deeper study into the Word of God and what it means for each student as they grow in knowledge and faith.  Teachers provide students with important foundational knowledge that will help them in all aspects of life and prepare them to live as Disciples of Christ.  Students engage in various activities and games as they learn of God’s goodness and build bonds and relationships with other students that will strengthen and encourage their faith.
