Children’s Bulletins
Be sure to ask an usher each Sunday for these bulletins filled with activities for children based on scriptures. There are separate bulletins published for children ages 3-6 and children ages 7-12. They may also be found in the children’s worship bags hanging on racks. Activity bags are used each week and returned so they may be replenished. Check out the secret code on the bulletin each week to unlock games and activities at childrensbulletins.com
Cookies with Santa
Children enjoy hot chocolate and cookies and participate in activities reinforcing the true meaning of the Christmas season as they await their special visit and photograph with Santa. This program will be offered again in December 2022.
Children’s Sunday
Children ages 3-5th grade will have the opportunity to serve as worship leaders on this special Sunday that’s usually held in May. Children will witness their faith through scriptures, prayers, special readings, and songs.
Easter Egg Hunt
This program is for families with children through the 5th grade. It’s open to the community and is held off campus. Eggs are already hidden for the children to find. This family event includes crafts, photo booth, and a surprise visitor. Last year, this fun event was held at the City of North Augusta Butterfly Garden Park. Watch the newsletter for our next Easter Egg Hunt.
Easter Butterfly Release
II Corinthians 5:17 tells us, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are becoming new.” During the Lenten season children are given caterpillars and witness the amazing transformation that takes place, symbolic of Christ’s resurrection from death. Children return chrysalises to the church and place them in butterfly boxes. Butterflies are released on Easter at a church-wide celebration of Christ’s triumph over death.
