Children's Day Out Grace CDC offers Children's Day Out (CDO) for infants through two year olds. Classes are heldMondays and Thursdays for infants, toddlers, younger 2s, and older 2s. Additional classes are heldWednesdays for toddlers and 2s. Each class has two teachers in the classroom, and each age group has class size limits. The CDCclasses are from 9:00 - 1:00. The CDC provides a morning snack, and children bring their lunchesfrom home. As the age group gets older, more activities are added to the daily class schedule. Toddlersbegin going outside to the playground daily and have occasional arts and craft time, whereas older2s enjoy story time, daily arts and crafts, and more structured activities and games. All age groupsexcept infants enjoy going to the smaller section of the playground daily.Students must register for the classes during the school year. However, a drop-in CDO is heldduring the summers from 9:00 - 1:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please see the Summer CDOcalendar for specific dates and additional information. |
